Mount Apo Coffee

Davao Crocodile Park, Inc. would like to introduce its newest products: the Mount Apo Civet Coffee, Mount Apo Altura Coffee and the Coffee Shop Roast. These three different varieties of coffee are naturally grown in the Philippines’ highest mountain, the Mt. Apo of Davao Region. The rich volcanic soil, the varying elevation and the type of varieties coming from the Mt. Apo range and our strict quality control guarantee a high quality, chemical free and flavorful cup of coffee.

 

Mt. Apo Civet Coffee

The Mount Apo Civet Coffee is made from the finest and ripest beans of coffee berries found in the Mt. Apo ranges. It is from the Philippine’s civet cat droppings that the Mt. Apo Civet Coffee is made.  The civet eats the berries for their fleshy pulp and in its stomach proteolytic enzymes seep into the beans, making shorter peptides and more free amino acids. The beans from the civet cat yield an aromatic chocolatey taste coffee with much less bitterness. 

 

Mt. Apo Altura Coffee

The Mt. Apo Altura Coffee, on the other hand, is selected and picked from the most robust Arabica trees that grow at elevation exceeding 1500 meters above sea level. It has smooth flavor with mild and slightly sweet taste. The beans are premium select giving us the assurance of a high quality coffee product.
